To provide young people opportunities to use their imagination through performing arts while simultaneously aiding them to grow personally and socially by building self-esteem, confidence, character, and health.
In addition to teaching the students the latest dances and techniques, they are also encouraged to live healthy lifestyles due to the obesity epidemic amongst the youth. Coming from different walks of life, everyone has special skills and unique personalities which offers diversity and makes them an asset to the company. When working with U Dig, you will learn this is more than dance, its a lifestyle.
The motto is this is more than dance because we emphasize the importance of health and wellness. At U Dig, dancers appreciate the differences in themselves and others because the curriculum is designed specifically to achieve our mission, which retards academic failure, violence in the community, and drug use. Hence they are able to better the community with each child through artistic expression, creativity, and growth. The program is so successful at bettering communities through the youth, they have been recognized globally.

Empower The Youth is a 501c3 organization and gifts are tax deductible when goods or services are not exchanged for the donation.
Under Empower The Youth scholarships are awarded to students who are unable to afford tuition for its program, UDIG D.A.N.C.E.
