Ryan is the Vice President of U-Dig Dance Academy; he began dancing at the age of 10.Ryan found his start as a dancer on the Memphis Grizzlies Jr. Dance Team, and at 14 Ryan began as assistant choreographer for the Memphis Grizzlies Entertainment Teams. He currently teaches and performs all over Memphis, specializing in Hip Hop, Improv/Freestyle, and Memphis Jookin.

Rashawn Hammons has been dancing for 10 years with 7 of those years having choreography experience and is the founder and lead choreographer for Arkansas Street Dance group the P.O.E. Kru (Pushing Over Elements) which resides in Arizona, Georgia and now Arkansas. He is also the newest member to Band of Misfits crew, Motion Playlist and UDIG Dance Academy. His expertise lies in choreography, popping, locking, liquid, old school hip hop, break freeze, isolation, and boogaloo; loving what the legends of old have set forth with the go-getters of the new. His national exposure has brought him to spend much time working projects in Springfield, Missouri, Dallas, Texas, Tucson, Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia, New York City and Manhattan, New York training and performing with Culture Shock Atlanta, has been involved with dance intensives at Broadway Dance Center and has auditioned for the hit reality show So You Think You Can Dance Season 5 in Memphis, Tennessee. In November, he was the host of the highly anticipated "Put it on the Floor: Disturbing the Beatz" Arkansas Dance Intensive Workshop and street dance jam and has worked with Pandora of the movie "Step UP 3D" and "The LXD" (Legion of Extraordinary Dancers) and has also worked with Di "Moon" Zhang of AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW SEASON 6 CHAMPION I.AM.ME CREW. Zhang has worked with Quest Crew, Kaba Modern, Soreal Cru and Phillip "Pacman" Chbeeb of I.AM.ME CREW and "So You Think You Can Dance". Rashawn has also worked with well-known dance company U-Dig Dance Academy along side So You Think You Can Dance highlight and featured dancer of Janelle Monae's "TightRope" video, Dr. Rico, Youtube's favorite/2010 Man of a 1000 Moves Winner/Battlefest Highlight Contender, G-Nerd, and U-Dig C.E.O., Tarrik Moore

Marico Flake aka Dr. Rico

Marico "Dr. Rico" Flake has been studying the style of Jookin since 2001. He has been featured in Destiny Child concert, So You Think You Can Dance Finalist, Bets Revamped, Bets 106 and Park winner group, Janelle Monaes Tightrope video, Erykah Badhu tour 2010, Winner of Man of a 1000 moves 2009 and several other battles and performances. He was sent to this earth on May 26,1984. At the age of 17 he realized that he could awaken his true self through the unearthly art of Memphis Jookin. His inspiration for dance is the opportunity to show humans the power of self realization. Through freestyle he discovered his innovative creativity and continued to harness that power through dance.This power can be used in anything so when you ask me how I am able to acheive these things, Iwill tell you that you must Believe.

Terance Smith aka G-Nerd is a local celebrity because of his accomplishments in the city and nationally as a dancer. G-Nerd has been a trendsetter in Memphis Jookin since 2006. Gnerd has won battles coast to coast in Paper Rock Scissors Dance Competition in San Francisco, CA and Battle Fest Dance Competition in Brooklyn, New York. Gnerd is one of Youtube favorites he has tallied up more than 500,000 views.

Tarrik Moore , Memphis native (Artistic Director, Choreographer, Dancer) founded the Tennessee based dance company, U-Dig Dance Academy in December 2006. With 15 years combined , Mr. Moore has trained in ballet, jazz, African dance, and hip hop. In addition to his work with U Dig, is also the dance instructor at Kipp Diamond Academy and coordinates five dance programs with the Memphis City Schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, St. Francis Catholic School, and the Healthy Life Sports Camp. In 2008, Mr. Moore was awarded the Knocdown Entertainment 1st Humanitarian Award, which was also named after Mr. Moore. He has received the Exhibition Momentum award from Rhodes College. Mr. Moore and U Dig Dance Academy have been recognized globally for Memphis Jookin in the Paris, France JusteDebout magazine, Apollo Theater, CBS , BET 106 & Park, and FOX 13. Mr. Moore also has a series of instructional dance videos that are sold worldwide.
